1. Who we are

Shadowtech LLC is an audiovisual integration and monitoring company based in Laurel, Maryland, serving clients across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@shadowtech.llc.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us or request services, we collect details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the contents of your message. If you are a client with a Sentinel portal account, we also collect account information such as your name, email, and login credentials.

AV system monitoring data. For clients who use Sentinel, we collect operational data from the audiovisual systems we monitor — for example device status, health, temperature, performance metrics, configuration, and network information needed to monitor, maintain, and protect your system. This is system and equipment data used to deliver the service; it is not used to monitor individuals.

Information collected automatically. When you use our Services, we may automatically collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs, including through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8). 3. How we use information

To provide, operate, and maintain our Services, including monitoring and servicing client AV systems;

Service providers (subprocessors) who help us operate, including hosting (Netlify / EdgeOne), database and authentication (Supabase), and contact-form handling (Formspree)[, and email delivery via your email provider]. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Shadowtech, our clients, or others.

Within your organization — Sentinel portal data may be visible to authorized members of the client organization the system belongs to.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls and row-level data isolation, login rate limiting, and session management. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain client systems, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
