Houses of Worship

Church AV Integration for Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia

Shadowtech designs, installs, and monitors complete audio, video, LED, lighting, and live-streaming systems for churches across the DMV — engineered for clarity in every seat, and watched 24/7 so the technology never interrupts worship.

01  The challenge

Worship shouldn't wait on the AV.

A dead microphone, a screen that won't come up, a stream that drops mid-service — for a growing church, these aren't minor glitches. They happen in front of the congregation, on a Sunday, with volunteers scrambling to fix something live. Most AV companies install a system and disappear until something breaks. We built Shadowtech to do the opposite: engineer a system that's reliable by design, then keep watch over it around the clock.

04  Common questions

Church AV, answered.

How much does a church AV system cost?

It depends on your sanctuary size and scope. As a rough guide: smaller sanctuaries (under ~200 seats) often run $10,000–$30,000, mid-size rooms (200–500 seats) $30,000–$75,000, and large auditoriums (500+) $75,000 and up. We design to your room and budget, with transparent pricing before any work begins.

What is AV monitoring, and why does a church need it?

It means watching your sound, video, and network gear in real time so problems are caught before a service rather than during one. Our Sentinel platform monitors every device 24/7, flags trouble early, and often resolves it remotely — so a failing amp or a hot network switch never becomes a dead Sunday.

What AV brands do you install?

We design and certify on professional platforms including K-array, Allen & Heath, Symetrix, and Dante. As a K-array Certified Designer and Installer, we spec the right system for your sanctuary instead of a one-size-fits-all package.

Do you work with churches of our size and denomination?

Yes — houses of worship of every size and tradition across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, from a single sanctuary to a multi-campus church.

Do you provide support after installation?

Yes. Every system can be backed by a protection plan, and our Pro and Enterprise plans include 24/7 Sentinel monitoring with a live dashboard, proactive remediation, and clear reporting.
